BEYONCE DEDICATION : TINA KNOWLES GREEN BEAN STIR FRY RECIPE

The first time I ever heard Beyonce Knowles on a record was the track entitled,  No No No , with Destiny’s Child’s first album when I was a senior in high school back in 1998. ( Damn I’m old ) The song was a catchy song with four girls singing harmony and dancing around in the video. There were several girl groups similar to them out during this time and so I just figured they were just another girl group with a catchy song but nothing major. It wasn’t until The Writing’s On The Wall was released the following year, and then I knew Destiny’s Child was going to be a big group. I remember I could not stop listening to this album and was listenting to Say My Name constantly before it even began getting radio play. That album made me a definitive fan in this group and I thought that was that.

Then in 2003, Beyonce released her first solo album, Dangerously In Love, and I became a Beyonce fan for life. To this day, this album is Beyonce’s most successful album ever with over 11 million copies sold and there’s a reason why. Every track on this record is just great. I remember every one of my friends knew every song on the album and were all about the sing alongs in the car with everyone knowing every lyric. You know you have a damn good album when everyone knows the lyrics to every song not just the hit songs. After that the albums just kept getting better and better. We had B Day, I am… Sasha Fierce , and 4…which gaves us all hits like Single Ladies, Run the World, Countdown, Halo, and Best Thing I Never Had .. just to name a few. We could sit here all night and talk about all the songs Beyonce has done…oh and I even forgot to mention all the movies she’s starred in. I’m just going to sum this up by saying I am a huge fan of Queen B and love her music and performances.  Now on tour for her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour , Beyonce shows the world just like her song , Run The World, says that she is strong enough to bear her children and get back to business.

Beyonce has constantly said in interviews her favorite foods are soul food, fast food, Popeyes, and pasta. She pretty much likes anything that’s fatting and has carbs.  What a lot of people don’t know about is her mom, Tina Knowles, makes one of Beyonce’s favorite dishes off all time. Tina Knowles has a signature Green Bean Stir Fry that Beyonce absolutely loves , so I decided to try out the recipe and share it with you guys. It goes great with chicken and I decided to substitute Proscuitto for Bacon…just to try something different. I really liked this dish as a side or even as a savory small dish to eat. Careful though…its a spicy little number 🙂
