Singer, Dancer and Fashion Model Ciara “Princess” Harris is known as the Queen of Crunk. She received this title when she moved to Atlanta, teamed up with producer Jazze Pha who helped her get a deal with La Face Records which has since dropped her, and dropped the hottest singles “Goodies, 1,2 step and Oh” from her freshman album. She hasn’t had the easiest transitions since entering the Music Biz with labels dropping her, managers not doing their job properly and her just attempting to headline tours without being prepared. Other than singing, she’s had a couple of roles in movies and has been featured as a reoccurring character on B.E.T’s sitcom “The Game”.

Today Ciara is still getting her model on, acting, and getting a little more familiar with the people by appearing on talk shows such as Ellen. She is also promoting her new album “I’m Out” on her new record label Jive Records. Her first single from the album is entitled “I’m Out” featuring Nikki Minaj! What I got from “I’m out” is, it’s a woman empowering song, “I’m Out” encourages women that they’re sexy without anyone telling them. I think she was trying to pull off an empowerment movement like Destiny’s Child did with “Survivor” or even “A Woman’s Worth” by Alicia Keys but it doesn’t have as much impact nor will it get as many spins as those records did. She also did “Love, Sex, and Magic” featuring Justin Timberlake AGAIN! I guess she just can’t get enough of it. It is a good song but I have heard it on one album already which means I’ve heard this song too many times. Overall I give this effort a 6 ½ out of 10 she had some great producing, sampling, and arrangements on this album. She just lost points, vocally, content wise and with range of musicality.
Well in the latest news, looks like Ciara ruffled a few boas when she bailed out on a performance during this year’s Gay pride week in Los Angeles. That was not a very business-like move Ci-Ci. Whether you condone or condemn a lifestyle, you knew what it was all about before you booked the show so it was your responsibility to simply follow through. Ciara was served papers as well while she was in the middle of a performance on stage. I guess those boas don’t play.

I think Ciara has a future in the entertainment business. I’ve noticed from past efforts that I enjoy her more as an actor. Seem she knows how to pull from within and bring out the character. I also see her doing more modeling. She has a face and a body that can contend with some of the top models today. I see her doing more recording but I do not think her vocal technique is going to get any better quality wise. She will continue to make great music for people to dance to.

Now on to the food. Ciara says when she likes to splurge on a meal, she enjoys her favorite dish black bean chicken burritos. However , she is an avid health conscious eater on a daily basis and so we decided to create a low calorie super healthy meal in honor of Ciara. This dish is packed with vitamins and antioxidants served up at only 367 Calories !! Yummy and easy on the waistline 🙂
