TyRell Johnson AKA DJ Third Shift has always been a big fan of music, and always had the stereo up when he was cooking as a chef on the job. But it was one fateful day when he went to a party with some friends and listened to a horrible DJ on the wheels of steel that he decided ,” I can do that too and do it better ! ” He knew if he practiced and got the right equipment, he could use his ear for music and turn into a great DJ gig. And that’s exactly what he did. He started spinning at various parties for friends and family , and began to establish a name for himself in the Middle Tennessee Area. In 2012, he entered a local DJ spinning contest at McFadden’s Club and Saloon in Nashville, TN and won first place ! He knew at that moment he was doing something right and was going to keep doing it.

You can check out DJ Third Shift at various parties, clubs, weddings, and family reunions throughout the Middle Tennessee Area. You’re guaranteed to hear a great mix of music spinning and get the urge to Twerk….maybe not like Miley but a little Twerk never hurt nobody 🙂
